FHS at 60th Zlín Film Festival

February 2021In 2020, the Zlín Film Festival celebrated its 60th anniversary, and despite hygiene-related challenges and a postponed date, it was successfully held – with the Faculty of Humanities being an essential part of its accompanying programme. This year, the participating institutes focused on the safety of young children and primary school pupils in the online environment, with an emphasis on the primary prevention of cyberbullying at the lower and upper secondary school levels. The activities for children were prepared by students of Preschool Teacher Training, Primary School Teacher Training, and Social Pedagogy. Healthcare patrols, composed of General Nursing students, were also present to carefully monitor the health of festival visitors. Despite the initial uncertainty regarding organisational conditions, the entire FHS team managed to create and deliver an outstanding programme, which was met with smiles and praise from participants.
