9. March 2022On 9 November 2021, the university launched a call centre at the request of the Regional Public Health Authority in Zlín. This time, the call centre was set up directly at FHS in the student club, which completely changed its function until the end of the year, transforming into a space filled with cables, extension cords, and laptops. The task of students from the Institute of Health Sciences was to trace individuals who tested positive for Covid-19. Primarily, first-year students took part, with some of their working hours counted towards the mandatory internship for the semester, which focused on health and prevention. Approximately twenty students worked at the call centre daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including weekends and public holidays.
