In 2001, she graduated in Primary Education with a specialization in German Language from the Faculty of Education at Masaryk University in Brno. In 2002, she enrolled in the doctoral program in Pedagogy at the same faculty, completing it in 2006. In 2005, she passed the rigorous examination at the same faculty. Between 2006 and 2008, she completed a functional study program in School Management II at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in Brno.

She taught for five years at the Higher Vocational School of Social and Legal Studies in Brno. Since 2006, she has served as an Assistant Professor, and since 2019 as an Associate Professor, at the Department of Sport Pedagogy at the Faculty of Sports Studies, Masaryk University in Brno. She has also been an external lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno, the Brno University of Technology, and the Faculty of Humanities, Tomas Bata University in Zlín. In 2021 and 2022, she was the Head of the Department of Sport Pedagogy.

Since 2022, she has been serving as an Associate Professor and Director at the Institute of School Pedagogy at the Faculty of Humanities, Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Since 2023, she has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Physical Education and Social Sciences at the Faculty of Sports Studies, Masaryk University in Brno.

Her academic focus includes school pedagogy, educational and school management. Her research interests encompass teaching interaction and communication, as well as pedeutological studies of both novice and expert teachers, particularly concerning physical education teachers. She is the author and co-author of five monographs and numerous scholarly articles published both domestically and internationally. She has completed several short-term and long-term study stays abroad.

She has contributed to establishing video study as a research method for analyzing teaching in various subjects at the primary school level. She has completed a two-year course in video interaction training and a one-year course in neurolinguistic programming.

She is a member of the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Sports Studies, Masaryk University in Brno, the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Humanities, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, an evaluator for the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education, a member of the Coordination Council for Teacher Education at Masaryk University in Brno, and a member of the Program Council for Teacher Education at the Faculty of Sports Studies, Masaryk University in Brno.
