During the lecture (September 13), Professor Richard Desjardins will share his insights into current trends in the development of adult skills in OECD countries. The workshop will focus on providing recommendations for doctoral candidates and early-career researchers on publishing in international scientific journals.
Professor Richard Desjardins is one of the world’s foremost researchers in the field of adult education. He has previously held positions at prestigious European universities in Stockholm and Copenhagen and spent several years working for the OECD in Paris. He is a key conceptual architect and analyst of the international PIAAC survey on adult skills. Currently, he serves as a professor of adult education at UCLA and is a member of the editorial boards of several international scientific journals.
