Mgr. Marie Pavelková, Ph.D.
Department of School EducationShe is a graduate of the Bachelor’s degree in Kindergarten Teaching at the Palacký University in Olomouc. She completed her master’s degree in preschool and elementary pedagogy at the Comenius University in Bratislava. She worked as a 1st grade elementary school teacher at the Emil Zátopek Elementary School in Zlín. During her internship, she actively participated in professional courses and training such as financial literacy, talent search, inclusive teaching and environmental education. It specifically focused on the teaching of mathematics in the first grade of primary school and was oriented towards teaching oriented towards building schemes. She currently works at ÚŠP as an assistant professor and teaches mathematically oriented subjects. The basic area of her professional interest is didactics of mathematics and she specifically focuses on communication in mathematics.
