Mgr. Iva Žáková, Ph.D. successfully completed her doctoral studies at Masaryk University in Brno, Faculty of Education, Department of Special and Inclusive Pedagogy in the field of Special Education – Speech Therapy. Her dissertation dealt with the diagnosis of language abilities in children with developmental dysphasia. In her research activities, she contributed to the standardization of diagnostic material in the field of language for developmental dysphasia, which is being prepared with her team by doc. Smolík at the CAS Prague and Phil UK and which is the only material in the Czech Republic so far. Diagnostics in children, inclusive education and standardisation of diagnostic markers are the main areas she would like to further develop in her research.
