FHS at the 61st Zlín Film Festival (4.–15.9.2020)
18. October 2022The Faculty of Humanities at Tomas Bata University in Zlín has been regularly involved in the accompanying programme of the Zlín Film Festival for several years. The year 2021 was no exception.
At the 61st International Festival of Films for Children and Youth, the FHS offered carefully planned fun and educational activities for younger and older visitors in the faculty’s student club premises. Throughout the festival, medical patrols were on standby, ready to provide first aid or treat minor injuries to children. The all-day programme, titled Safely with the Faculty of Humanities – Fun and Educational Activities for Primary School Pupils and Families with Children, enjoys great interest every year. This year’s topics offered by the faculty were titled Orientation on Social Networks, (Un)Safe Online, and Journey Through Time. Students of the Pre-school Teacher Training, Primary School Teacher Training, and Social Pedagogy study programmes prepared the activities in an attractive yet simple format, ensuring that children not only have fun but also learn something new and can take home a small item they have made themselves.
