Tomas Bata University in Zlín

She is a graduate of the Bachelor’s degree programme Teaching for Kindergartens at Palacký University in Olomouc. She completed her Master’s degree in Teaching for Primary School at Comenius University in Bratislava. At the same faculty she passed her dissertation exam in the field of Preschool and Elementary Pedagogy. As part of her doctoral studies, she completed a one-semester internship at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University in Brno. Since 2014, she has been working at the Institute of School Pedagogy at FHS/UTB in Zlín as an assistant professor. At the same time she worked as a teacher at the first level of primary school. Her professional interests are comparative pedagogy and didactics of art education. In terms of research, she is currently focusing on visual aids and their influence on the development of cognitive abilities in preschool and younger school-age children.
