Mgr. Zlatica Dorková, Ph.D.
Department of Health Care SciencesShe is a general nurse and a health and social worker. In the dissertation thesis she studied funeral rituals in modern times and their socio-cultural perspective. Her pedagogical and scientific research activities focus on the issues of dying, death and funeral rituals. She is a certified counselor for survivors, a crisis interference worker and a supervisor. She supports the philosophy of dignified dying in health and social workers and supports dealing with death in the Czech Republic. She is the author of many professional studies both in the Czech journals and abroad, professional papers in conferences and study texts. Since 2016 she professionally guarantees the study program Health and social care, field of study Health and social worker.
