Department of School EducationShe completed her studies in the field of mathematics – physics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Comenius University in Bratislava. After completing her master’s degree, she worked for two years as a high school mathematics teacher at the military secondary school in Nitra. In the years 1980-1990, she worked at the Institute of Archeology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences as a researcher. In 1980, she completed a rigorous examination (RNDr.) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Bratislava, where in 1990 she completed her doctoral studies (CSc.) in the field 11-06-9 Probability and mathematical statistics. She completed the habilitation procedure in 2002 at FPV UKF in Nitra in the field 9.1.8 Theory of teaching mathematics and in 2009 was inaugurated at the Mendel University in Brno in the field 9.1.10 Statistics. Since 2019, he has been working at the Faculty of Humanities at the Tomáš Bata University in Zlín. She is the author of 150 contributions and co-author of more than 12 monographs and 14 textbooks. Its records and citation records can also be found in international databases. She is a member of the commissions for the habilitation procedure in the field of applied mathematics and the theory of teaching mathematics, and also participates in the commissions for the defense of doctoral theses.
